As I said, do not think of magnesium only as a muscle protector, but every cell, that is, the structure of every cell depends on sufficient levels of magnesium. But what magnesium will reduce for you, it will protect to a certain degree from synthesis of the stress hormones, which are cortisol, aldosterone, estrogen, growth hormone also. Many people inject themselves with it, especially athletes or rich people who imagine that it will rejuvenate them because children have high levels of growth hormone. Yes, but children also have very high levels of pregnenolone, progesterone, which protect them to some extent from growth hormone.

Diabetics get many such, and this is very dangerous. Most of them, even if a diabetic dies, it is usually either from this or because their kidneys have given out. Speaking of the kidneys, so not only does magnesium protect from the appearance of such ulcers in diabetics, it accelerates their healing if they already have them, and after I mentioned the kidneys, the main cause of death in diabetics is kidney failure. A large part of diabetics, especially in the advanced phase, are on dialysis. But it has been shown that magnesium can completely prevent the worsening of kidney function to the degree that it reaches dialysis.

And so apparently there's more sodium and calcium outside the cell and there's more potassium and magnesium inside the cell. And that whole ion balance is orchestrated by the energy flowing through the system and the production of carbon dioxide. And so I think I actually, I don't want to go there because I'm not sure if he's actually said or not, but the one thing I will say, I don't think it's good to have a bunch of magnesium in your blood. Georgi and I talked about this on one of our live streams, but since magnesium is an intracellular ion, if you measure it in the blood and it's very high, that means your cells are losing magnesium. Like it's not, it's supposed to be inside the cell. And so I think it would need like a tissue analysis or biopsy or something to measure it. I don't think there's a very good test for magnesium.
