This is a research tool, not a clinician. The Oracle reports what its corpus says — sometimes accurately, sometimes not — and is not in a position to know your individual situation.
What the Oracle is
The Oracle is a retrieval-grounded research assistant over a curated corpus of bioenergetic and pro-metabolic writings by Ray Peat PhD, Georgi Dinkov, Danny Roddy, and adjacent researchers. Every answer is composed from passages in that corpus, cited inline. Click a citation to read the original passage in full — that is the primary signal you should weigh, not the assistant's paraphrase.
What the Oracle is not
Not a clinician.
It cannot examine you, see your bloodwork, review your history, or weigh individualized contraindications. Anything that would normally require those capabilities is outside its competence.
Not a substitute for professional care.
If you are facing a medical decision — a diagnosis, a medication change, an emergency, a pregnancy, a chronic condition — that decision belongs with a qualified professional who can examine you, not with a chat interface.
Not a primary source.
The corpus authors are themselves syntheses of broader literature, and they sometimes disagree with each other and with mainstream consensus. The Oracle reports what its sources say; whether those sources are correct is a separate question you have to evaluate yourself.
Not always right.
Even with citations, the assistant can misread a passage, smooth over an important caveat, or confabulate at the margins. The transparency UI (clickable citations, “Why this answer?” panel) exists so you can catch this. Use it.
How to use answers responsibly
- Treat each answer as a starting point for further reading, not as a conclusion.
- Click into the cited passages and read them in full before relying on the assistant's phrasing of them.
- Cross-reference the claim against mainstream medical literature if it concerns a decision with real consequences. Disagreement between the bioenergetic corpus and mainstream consensus is common; that disagreement is itself information you should weigh.
- Discuss any meaningful health decision — supplementation, hormone use, medication adjustments, dietary protocols — with a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Emergencies
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, stop reading and contact your local emergency service. The Oracle is not designed for real-time crisis support and does not provide it.
No professional relationship is established
Using this service does not create a patient, client, advisor, or professional relationship with the operator, with the authors of the corpus, or with anyone else. The Oracle is a tool you use voluntarily and at your own risk.
Your responsibility
By using the Oracle you agree that any action you take based on its output is your own decision. The operator, the corpus authors, and the upstream AI / infrastructure providers are not responsible for outcomes resulting from your use of the answers.
